I offer a warm, inclusive and safe space in Bangor, County Down, for you to feel safe, heard and understood.
I believe that each one of us has the innate capacity for growth and healing. If we work together, we will explore how to help you find a better understanding of your self and what you need to navigate change and find hope.
I am trained in Integrative Counselling and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I combine different counselling techniques and theories, but my work is largely informed by 'Person-Centred' theory which focuses on the client's needs. So at the start of a session I will often ask: 'what feels important for us to talk about today' and take my lead from you.
I also incorporate elements of 'Internal Family Systems' or IFS, if clients are comfortable with this approach. This involves exploring the clients internal 'parts' and working with them, rather than eliminating or suppressing them.
Sessions are £45 and last 50 minutes.
Sessions take place once a week, in person.
(Online sessions are available depending on circumstances).
